Ophthalmology

We can diagnose and treat glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disorders, and other eye issues that your pet may be experiencing.

Overview

The diagnosis and treatment of eye abnormalities and illnesses in cats, dogs, and other animals is the focus of veterinary ophthalmology. Cataracts are a frequent eye ailment in pets that may require surgery to repair, while other disorders require less intense therapy. We’ll work closely with you to figure out what’s causing any eye issues your pet is having and come up with the best treatment options for your pet’s eyes’ long-term health.

Why would my pet need ophthalmology treatments?

The majority of people go to the eye doctor at least once a year. It is also critical that we maintain the health of our pets’ eyes.

There are a variety of ocular problems that your cat might have. Some of these problems might emerge as a result of another sickness your pet is suffering from. Cataracts, for example, are most commonly inherited from a coexisting illness like diabetes.
