Laboratory Services
Diagnostic testing can help uncover issues that your pet is having so that correct treatment can begin before the situation develops.
Overview
Unfortunately, pets are unable to communicate where they are hurting, and a seemingly healthy animal may be disguising indications of sickness or illness. To identify any abnormalities and initiate therapy as soon as possible, we prescribe veterinary diagnostic tests. These tests are particularly useful when symptoms are vague or difficult to characterize.

When would laboratory work be needed?
The majority of laboratory testing is performed as part of routine wellness checks as ordered by our doctors. Our diagnostic lab will perform several tests to identify the best therapy for your pet in the event of an emergency or an impromptu visit.
We recommend that you have your pet tested on a regular basis to assess his or her health. If any problems or issues are discovered, we will work with you to determine the best course of action. Please book an appointment as soon as possible if your pet is acting strangely. During your appointment, our doctors will assess which laboratory services are necessary.
How do veterinarians use laboratory work?
We inspect your pet’s eyes, ears, and skin first, then check for any abnormalities in their circulatory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems to guarantee an accurate diagnosis. If blood and/or urine tests are required, we will examine their kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system. We may prescribe further diagnostic tests based on your pet’s condition.
If you have any concerns about your pet’s health, please contact us or make an appointment for a medical examination.
